Poem: Description

Twisted
Evil
A devious being
Brought into my life with good will
Even enjoyed for a time
But now despised
Too dishonest
Claiming innocence
But never showing
Always slinking just out of site
Settling into mind
When least expected
Wishing to be rid of you
But unable to do so
Cat

Poem: Subject

You are my addiction
Drawing me in
Whether I resist or not
Sometimes I wish that you were gone
But it never lasts long
I love you
Even though you distract me
And prevent me from doing the things I need to do
You bend my will
You shape my spirit
I hope you will always be with me
But even if we are not together
A part of you stays with me
I will remember you

Poem: Friend

Forging good feelings
Bonds that can last a life time
Friendship is magic

Free Poem: Universe

Gazing up from earth
On a chilly autumn night
Lights appear
Numerous and twinkling
A picture of worlds far above
But that is only the beginning
Search farther
Past the sky
And the moon
And the visible shining stars
Focus on a tiny patch of darkness
Hardly visible among so many shimmering lights
Look farther
Farther
Farther
Farther
On into the black
The black that will give way to light
So many lights
Gatherings of color
Shades of red
And blue
And orange
Clouds of dust so large a mind can scarcely comprehend
Galaxies so enormous that our world is but a speck of dust in comparison
Planets colliding
Stars exploding
Energy being sucked into nothingness
All of this goes on
In a tiny patch of darkness
That the eye can hardly see
We are only a speck
In the awesome might of the universe

Poem: I Am From

I am from books
I am from the internet
I am from fantasy
I am from comfort
I am from new experiences
I am from a world of my own design

Poem: I Am

I am always thinking
I am a lover of fantasy
I am more complicated than I appear
I am a resident of my own world
I am tech savvy
I am passionate
I am FictionFan

ABC story.

Any other time, Luna would have been happy to attend court. But today was not a normal day. Celestia had just announced that drinking was outlawed in Equestria. "Dangerous and unpredictable" was the given reason. Even wines were to be forbidden! From the minute court had opened, angry ponies had been pouring into the building. Gone were the unspoken rules of "wait your turn" and "don't push anypony exiting the building as you are entering". Hostility and rudeness were rapidly spreading throughout the land of Equestria. Instead of the desired effect of peace and calm, Celestia had begun something that was rapidly spiraling out of the control of both herself and Luna. Just entering the courtroom had resulted in a violent explosion of protests from angry ponies as Luna entered the room. Killings and "accidental" deaths were being mentioned in the furious crowd. Luna had had just about enough of it. Moving swiftly, Luna stepped into the podium located at the end of the enormous room, and spoke into the microphone. "Nopony say another word, or I will not even consider discussing a lift of the ban with my sister" she announced. Ponies everywhere instantly shut their mouths and stared at the starry maned princess. Quickly Luna took advantage of the silence. Regally, Luna took a gathering breath. Switching to the 'royal we', Luna yelled into the microphone. "THE FINES HAVE BEEN DOUBLED". Under the impression that they would be fined for some reason, the remaining talkative ponies stopped what they were doing and started at the princess. Vigilantly one of the ponies spoke. "What fines?". Xenail as a princess should be, Luna answered the question. "You have no fine, good ponies, I just wanted to gain your attention while the zebra who caused this whole fiasco entered the room.". Zecora, who had been trying to sneak though to the room beyond, froze in her tracks. "Well, that's covered, then" thought Luna. And she flew away into the night.

Fear Poem: Ocean

Ocean
Dark and mysterious
Full of the unknown
Creatures never seen
Legends of the deep

Blacker than night
There is no moon to shine
Hunters carry the only light

I fear the day
When I go down
Surrounded by darkness
Trapped in immobility
Able to do nothing more than wait
Easy prey to the hunters of the deep

Creatures that will never see the light of day
Living
Thriving
Growing
Waiting for a chance

A chance to tear
To seize
To rend
To devour
To end me

I will not venture to the deep

Object Poem: Desktop

Standing at my bedside
Dark and ever vigilant
Patiently waiting for my commands
Chosen by me
Built by me
Perfect for me
A provider of entertainment
A travel companion
A magnificent creation
And most of all
My friend

Autobiography Poem

The dreamer
Passionate for things not real
Sibling of his creations
Lover of fantasy
Feeling a need to create
Needing to escape from reality
Giving life to new fantastic worlds
Who would like to see dreams take over truth
Resident of unreality
The Dreamer

ING Poem: Dreams

Dreams

Wishing that life was not real
That all this was a dream

I fall through the clouds of my mind
Thinking of all of the things that could and will not be

Dreaming of what I would do and who I could become
The hero and the savior of worlds

Creating a universe of my own design
A world that will bow down in awe of my power

Being the one the people love
And carry on their backs throughout the streets

But then I start to rise, fighting against forces I cannot control
Screaming and raging as realization sets in once again

And then I wake up
Knowing that my dream has ended

Regretting that I am no longer in control
And I am me again
